Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
